Ronda Rousey is back in the WWE and she’s on her way to Wrestlemania 38 in a headlining match. However, she is reportedly dealing with some promo issues which needed to be addressed. Regarding this, WWE Officials had talks with her to sort things out and now both the parties are said to be on good terms.
On a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that WWE Officials had to talk with Ronda Rousey following her first promo back on Monday Night Raw during the post-Royal Rumble edition. She had a brief exchange with Becky Lynch on the show, but it met with some complaints by the fans. So The Rumble winner had to be called as WWE Officials felt that the issue needed to be spoken about.
Ronda Rousey Praised By WWE Hall Of Famer The Bella Twins, “Her Strength Is Unreal”
Ronda Rousey is supposed to be bitter with the fans for turning on her during her first run with the company. However, things have likely been worked out, this time around as her promo on last week’s SmackDown had some improvement. The UFC Hall of Famer also high-fived fans on her way to the ring which was a first-time thing since her recent WWE return.
Ronda Rousey needed to sort out things about fans
“She hates the fans because of them turning on her, but you have to let that go. I presume somebody explained to her… I know people talked to her about certain things. But, it was explained that you have to let that go. Because, if you’re going to be bitter about that… You’re not supposed to be a heel and if you’re bitter at the fans you’re not going to be a very good babyface. She was way, way better,” the source noted regarding Ronda Rousey.
Ronda Rousey’s appearance at Royal Rumble 2022 was the first time that she had been seen on WWE TV since the main event of WrestleMania 35. It’s been three years since then as she has given birth to become a mother before finally deciding to return to the squared circle. She will compete on The Grandest Stage of Them All against Charlotte Flair over the Smackdown Women’s Championship.
Reports confirmed that Ronda Rousey will stay under contract with the WWE for more than a year which makes us believe that she will be available for at least one more WrestleMania main event, next year, possibly against Becky Lynch.
