WWE reportedly wants “something different” for the 2021 Royal Rumble pay-per-view. This is one of the Big-Four Events of the calendar which kicks things off for WrestleMania, the biggest event of the year. With the pandemic continuing to prevail all over the world, the company is always trying to evolve and the norm will continue.
There’s no word yet on what WWE plans for the 2021 Royal Rumble, but @Wrestlevotes reported that WWE officials do want something exceptional. Additionally, they also want fans to attend the big event, for the first time in over ten months. It was noted that it’d be done only for that one show.

Regardless of where the next location for WWE’s ThunderDome set up would be, it should last until February. So it’s evident that Royal Rumble would be going down at that venue.
WWE extended their contract with the Amway Center in Orlando for one more month that is through Tuesday, November 24. It means the final shows to go down at the Amway Center will be the Survivor Series pay-per-view on November 22, and the post-PPV RAW on November 23.
Edge Reportedly Returning From Injury At WWE Royal Rumble 2021
As per earlier reports from multiple wrestling media outlets, October 26 could’ve marked the end of the WWE ThunderDome viewing experience. They are reportedly looking at potential venues in North Carolina, Illinois, and Texas for Royal Rumble. Officials are reportedly looking at other venues inside the state of Florida as this is home territory for the WWE.

According to previous reports from The Dirty Sheets Patreon, WWE didn’t have any location planned for next year’s Royal Rumble. They haven’t gone to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel 2020 due to the pandemic. Thus they now owe 3 PPVs to the country’s sports authority in 2021. So there was a wild guess of The Rumble possibly going down in Saudi.
Earlier this year, there were rumors that Royal Rumble 2021 could be held at the T-Mobile Park in Seattle, Washington but that was the scene before WWE shows were affected by the COVID-19 outbreak. The very next WWE pay-per-view after Survivor Series is TLC on December 20. Just like Rumble WWE has not announced a location for the 2020 TLC event.
