ToggleRoyal Rumble 2023 was supposed to be the second WWE premium live event for next year followed by the inaugural WWE Day 1. In changed circumstances, the latter show has been canceled, and just like the prior years, the Rumble event will kick things off for the Wrestlemania 39 season in late January.
As always, there will be two separate Rumble matches from the men’s and women’s divisions at Royal Rumble 2023 PLE. Reports claim that former multi-time women’s champion Becky Lynch could once again win the 30-superstar matchup. Her nemesis, Charlotte Flair is also one of the favorites to become the winner and go on to Wrestlemania for a mega match.

Winners revealed for Royal Rumble 2023 match
As per reports by Xero News, Becky Lynch is heading to Friday Night Smackdown upon her latest return instead of Monday Night Raw. They further added in their report that Lynch is one of the two favorites to win the Women’s Royal Rumble 2023 matchup alongside Charlotte Flair. There’re months before the match actually happens and hence plans could change in due course.
Royal Rumble 2023: Possible plans around the match winners
If one of these two top WWE female talents wins the Royal Rumble 2023 match then it will be the second Rumble win of their career. Becky Lynch won the Royal Rumble match in 2019 that led to the historic first-ever all-women WrestleMania 35 main event where both the Raw and Smackdown Women’s Championships were on the line. The match, won by Lynch also featured Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair.
The following year, Flair won the 2020 Women’s Royal Rumble match and challenged for the NXT Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 36. She ended up winning the title match against Rhea Ripley to become a two-time NXT Women’s Champion.
As for Royal Rumble 2023, the long-awaited one-on-one matchup between Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey is expected to take place at next year’s WrestleMania. Lynch would win the Rumble and proceed to challenge the current Smackdown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey.
Xero News also previously reported that Becky vs. Ronda is currently locked in for Night One of WrestleMania 39. In case, Flair wins the Rumble then she is expected to target Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair for another singles bout at ‘Mania.
