She doesn’t wrestle or appear on AEW TV on a full-time basis but that doesn’t lessen the curiosity around her among the global fanbase that she has. After all, not often you could see a full-length feature film has been made on a personality from wrestling.

In association with the WWE and The Rock, Saraya is one rare person to have a film made on her real-life journey. That same company unthinkably released her from the contract down the road to break the long-time association. Now, the former WWE Superstar claimed that the release came at the perfect time.

Saraya Claims To Have WWE Release At Perfect Time In 2022 Summer 1

Speaking with Kenny McIntosh for Inside The Ropes, Saraya discussed her WWE release happened since the-then officials weren’t willing to keep her under their payroll as she was long sitting at home due to medical reasons. However, it was also noted via her comments that the current WWE head of the creative team Triple H had no idea about the release.

Saraya claims to have left the WWE on good terms

However, Saraya doesn’t have any complaints about the departure from the WWE which happened at a perfect time when she was surrounded by positive people and surroundings, Furthermore, the long-time association came to an end on good terms which perhaps keeps the door open for a future return.

“So I’m very, very fortunate in a way where it happened at a time where I have a really good community around me, like my boyfriend, my friends, my family, you know, I have a really good, stable community around me that’s always so positive,” Saraya stated in the interview.

“‘That’s totally fine. You know, I don’t wrestle anymore, I don’t know what you would have [done with me].’ And that’s, that’s perfectly fine. We left on really good terms, which I appreciate from Vince [McMahon] and Johnny.”

Soon after leaving the WWE, Saraya found her way to AEW during the Grand Slam edition of Dynamite back in September 2022 at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City. She immediately made an impact by starting a feud with Britt Baker. The former Paige may have not been able to capture the AEW Women’s World Championship but she is genuinely happy going in the flow in AEW, a time that she considers herself to have received a “second chance.”
