Former WWE Superstar Paige now going by her real name of Saraya was forced to halt her in-ring career due to injuries sustained while competing in a live event. The tragic incident took place during a 2017 WWE MSG house show, where she digested a kicked from the back by Sasha Banks and collapsed in the ring. This helped in diagnosing a fatal neck injury of hers.
WWE permanently disqualified her from in-ring competition afterward forcing her to announce her in-ring retirement, thereafter. Almost 5 years after that incident, Saraya has been announced to be medically cleared by doctors for in-ring action. While she may not regularly feature in matches, she will compete in one match, per month in the beginning phase. The former WWE Superstar also has a goal in mind after coming back to competition.

As seen on the November 9 episode of AEW Dynamite, Saraya revealed that she has been medically cleared for in-ring action during a segment with Britt Baker and also reveal her return to competition at AEW Full Gear. Saraya really hopes to revisit the story against Sasha Banks
Saraya will recently found speaking to Chris Van Vliet as she relayed her thoughts on different topics. She made it clear that she wants to have a rematch with Sasha Banks so that her career comes to a full circle,
“That’s what I said [in response to Van Vliet saying Banks and Saraya should wrestle.] I really wanted to have that match with Sasha. I wanted to have that rematch with her, because we have that built-in story. So I really wanted that.
One day I’ll have my match with Sasha [Banks.]”
