Sasha Banks is on her way to another championship match at Wrestlemania 38. Unlike last year, she will be going after the tag team titles rather than gunning for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. The top superstar has just returned from a short hiatus to go right back into the title hunt as ‘Mania season continues on WWE programming.
With a brand new tag team partner by her side, Sasha Banks is literally glowing with confidence. Last night on Smackdown, she accompanied Naomi to the ring for a win over one-half of the Women’s Tag Team Champion Carmella. The Boss was dressed up just like Naomi who also assisted her tag partner in a hard-fought win over Mella by neutralizing Zelina Vega at ringside.

Then on Twitter, Sasha Banks posted a series of photos in this brand new outfit that she donned on Smackdown. As you can see, the top WWE Superstar was all dazzling in a violet radiant outfit which is the signature of her tag team partner Naomi. The photos were captioned in a proper way which stated,
“I shine so bright I light the night. #WrestleMania.”

Sasha Banks and Naomi previously teamed together as Team B.A.D., along with Tamina Snuka. Naomi and Snuka were the original founders of the tag team but then Banks was inserted into their group from July 2015 – February 2016. Snuka did recently dropped a tweet to Banks and Naomi reuniting. But Snuka won’t be joining these two to re-form Team BAD since she’s on Raw.
During the February 25 episode of Smackdown, Sasha Banks made her return to the ring to seize a singles win over Shotzi, while Naomi was sitting on commentary. After the match, Naomi hit the ring to celebrate with Banks and announced that they will be the next WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. After laying down the challenge, the champions, Carmella and Zelina Vega accepted it to make the title match official for Wrestlemania 38.
Previously, there had been rumors on Sasha Banks vs. SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair for the title at WrestleMania 38, but WWE scrapped those plans after Ronda Rousey returned to win the Royal Rumble and set up the title match with Flair.
