Scarlett Bordeaux made a name for herself by working around the independent scene but then she rose to fame by hosting the Smoke Show on Impact Wrestling. Then she wanted to have more by starting started her career in WWE back in 201.
Thanks to her role as Karrion Kross’ valet on NXT, Scarlett Bordeaux became very much popular. At one point, there have been reports claiming that WWE was interested to receive her as an in-ring performer on the main roster. But she was eventually released along with the 18 superstars amid the budget-cut releases of the WWE.

Her husband, Killer Kross fka Karrion Kross in the WWE was also released by the company at the same time as the duo is currently trying to find a foothold in a different promotion. The duo was also recently in conversation with Wrestling Inc. Managing Editor Nick Hausman on The Wrestling Inc. Daily about deathmatches. The former NXT Champion is obviously open to competing in one such match given the right circumstances.

Scarlett Bordeaux not scared of featuring in hardcore matches
Interestingly, Scarlett Bordeaux also showed interest in doing one such deathmatch. Apparently, she spent a lot of time around the independent scene and grew up as a wrestler while watching some of the veterans performing in these hardcore matches. Thus, she developed her fancy for enjoying blood in wrestling when it is done right.
For Scarlett Bordeaux, with the right opponent, it is a match she’d be down to perform,
“I am all about it, I love those kinds of matches, I think blood adds an extra element to play with. I don’t like it when it’s done too much, it needs to be in the right setting. But, I started at AAW, so I saw some of the best matches ever with Tyler Black, Silas Young, Jimmy Jacobs, Arik Cannon, and there was a lot of 30-minute to 60-minute matches with a lot of blood and a lot of weapons. I loved it, I would totally do it, same thing, it depends on the opponent.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)
Prior to her WWE release, Scarlett Bordeaux was an integral part of Karrion Kross’ entire gimmick, especially his entrance. The duo terrorized the NXT roster following their debut. Within just a few months, Kross became the NXT Champion and many saw tons of potential in him for the main roster stint.
However, WWE never utilized Kross’ skills as a professional wrestler after arriving on Raw. As for Scarlett Bordeaux, she never had the opportunity to accompany her husband in the ring on Raw. She was released after wrestling in only one dark match on Smackdown.
