ToggleFor the better part of 2023, WWE Universe got to witness a dream feud between Becky Lynch and WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus. There was a point that WWE fans never expected to see this storyline unfold in front of their eyes as the two belong to different generations. But it’s happening for such a long term that people now have stopped caring about this.
Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus had already competed in several matches throughout the 2023 summer before wrapping things up via a Steel Cage Match, a gimmick that the latter never had the opportunity to perform in.
Becky Lynch Indeed Going To WWE NXT For Non-Accomplished Title Run?
Becky Lynch talked about her program with Trish Stratus
Speaking about this stretched program with the greatest of all time, THE MAN of the Masses in the WWE cited that Trish is scared of time running short for her and she was in fear of losing her spot to newer talents in the WWE like herself or Charlotte Flair. The flag-bearers of the WWE Women’s Evolution put her place as WWE’s greatest female talent in jeopardy.
WWE recently listed Trish Stratus as the number-one female talent in WWE history while Becky Lynch got the third place. Reacting to the numbering, the latter had the following to offer on WWE’s The Bump on YouTube,
“I think when she saw herself [listed as #1] and me as #3, she knew she was a fraud. I think there is an imposter syndrome there. She knew that she didn’t deserve to be #1.”
Becky Lynch admitted her eternal love for professional wrestling
Becky Lynch also theorized that today’s female superstars have struggled just as much as Trish Stratus did back when wrestling used to be all about male talents. With the current chunk of talent getting better every day, Trish just couldn’t hide her insecurity aspect,
“I have been in this business for longer than she ever stayed in this business. I’ve done more than she has. She got what she could take out of this business and she bolted, she left. I love this. It is in my blood, the WWE Universe, the people, the fans.”
For all the right reasons, Becky Lynch professed her undying love for the WWE and wrestling. The good news for her global fanbase is that she plans on staying in the business as long as she can out of her love for it. Being a mother never stopped her from getting back into the busy schedule of the WWE and that won’t stop anytime, soon.
