WWE Universe was under the impression of enjoying good times under the leadership of Stephanie McMahon and her husband, Triple H. The two had taken things over alongside Nick Khan after Vince McMahon announced his retirement. However, now that he’s back, the former WWE CEO has since resigned from her position but the Chief Content Officer Triple H retained his position.

The changes in leadership had reportedly happened in the wake of a possible WWE deal to make the company privatized. Reports also confirm that Stephanie McMahon and Triple H are opposed to a potential WWE sale unlike his father Vince McMahon. The stance of Nick Khan is unknown but he’s reportedly seeing parties to discuss the terms and conditions of WWE possibly being a sell-out.

Stephanie McMahon seems to be permanently gone from WWE

As noted above, Stephanie McMahon stepped down from her role as co-CEO of the WWE, a few days ago, leaving Nick Khan as the only CEO of the company. Interestingly, the announcement came after Vince McMahon stated in a public address that, “WWE has an exceptional management team in place, and I do not intend for my return to have any impact on their roles, duties or responsibilities.”

With Stephanie McMahon being gone from the scene, this time on a permanent basis, there’s a fearsome environment present around the WWE locker room. Triple H is still in charge of WWE’s creative direction despite his father-in-law’s return. However, a possible company sale could see a total change in creative direction as Vince and the future company shareholders would demand such things.
