At the WWE SummerSlam 2022 Premium Live Event, The Usos successfully defended their Unified WWE Tag Team Championships against The Street Profits – Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins. In a rematch from Money in the Bank, the champions again came out on top and continued with their title reigns.

Now, the WWE Stats Twitter account noted Jimmy and Jey Uso made history at SummerSlam 2022 by becoming the first tag team to have defended a tag team title at two consecutive SummerSlam events. Plus, they have also been successful in both these two title matches,
“Not counting kickoff matches, the @WWEUsos are the first duo in @WWE history to defend a tag team title at two consecutive #SummerSlam PPV events.”
The Usos and The Street Profits have been feuding during the summer that already delivered classic matches and it’s likely that SummerSlam 2022 might have marked the end of the program. With a new creative direction available with Triple H leading the team. It’ll interesting to see what’d be next in store for The Usos and The Street Profits in the coming days. Currently, Usos are in the 377th day of their title reign that started at last year’s Money In The Bank event.
During the match at SummerSlam 2022 for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship match between The Usos and The Street Profits, WWE Hall Of Famer Jeff Jarrett was the Special Guest Referee. Jey Uso almost superkick-ed Jarrett, but Jarrett avoided it. Montez hit his frogsplash on Jey but Jey kicked out. The Usos then backfired with the 1D move on Angelo get the pin to win.
