WWE is already planning something big around Summerslam 2023 reportedly from the same city that they had the 2022 edition. Under the new creative leadership of Triple H, the company has delivered a thrilling ride in late July in the form of the summer’s biggest PLE.
The pleasant experience might be forcing WWE to consider the same city for hosting Summerslam 2023 from Nashville, Tennessee. WrestleVotes has recently reported that the officials have been happy about how this year’s event turned out from The Music City. Hence, it’s already on the shortlist to host the event yet again next year.

It was also noted by the source that a decision around Summerslam 2023 is expected to be made early, next year,
“Source states WWE was beyond thrilled with how Nashville turned out as the host city for SummerSlam a few weeks back. The city is on the short list to host the event again next year. Decision expected early ‘23.”
WWE expected to bring Summerslam 2023 to Nashville
Nashville had full of pro wrestling events lined up during the 2022 SummerSlam weekend and that should be the case for Summerslam 2023, as well. This year, the summer premiere live event took place at Nissan Stadium on Saturday, July 30 while legendary Ric Flair’s Last Match went down, the very next night at the Municipal Auditorium. Starrcast V also took place over the weekend at the Nashville Fairgrounds.
Nashville, Tennessee’s own Jeff Jarrett was an active participant at all these events as he made appearances at Starrcast, acted as the special guest referee for the Undisputed Tag Team Titles match at Summerslam, and then fought Ric Flair in his final match. It will be interesting to see whether Summerslam 2023 will have the WWE Hall of Famer on the card.
