The builds for WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2022 have begun for the blue brand of the WWE during the latest episode of Smackdown. A brand new title match has been announced by the WWE while we also got a prelude of what could be in-store during the first-ever Men’s WarGames Match from the main roster.
In the second match of this week’s Smackdown, Shotzi defeated Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Sonya Deville, Lacey Evans, and Xia Li in a Six-Pack Challenge to become the new challenger to the WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey.

Shotzi got the pinfall win over Lacey Evans after hitting the Never Wake Up finisher. Soon after the match was over, WWE confirmed the Smackdown Women’s Championship match for Survivor Series WarGames 2022 where the champion Ronda Rousey will defend against Shotzi within two weeks of time.
Ronda Rousey began her second reign with the Smackdown Women’s Championship by defeating Liv Morgan for the title at Extreme Rules PPV. In her first title defense, Rousey pinned the returning Emma in an Open Challenge on the October 27 episode of Smackdown.

Survivor Series WarGames 2022 will also mark the second title defense of her current title reign. That night will also mark Shotzi’s first-ever singles championship match in her WWE career be it on NXT or on the main roster. Prior to that, Shotzi and Ember Moon had a short run with the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships in April 2021.
Roman Reigns set for Survivor Series WarGames Match?
Also in the main event segment of this week’s Smackdown, it was hinted that The Bloodline – Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, The Usos, Sami Zayn, and Solo Sikoa will be part of the Men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series WarGames 2022 PPV.
The Bloodline was seen having a brawl with The Brawling Brutes – Sheamus, Butch, and Ridge Holland accompanied by Drew McIntyre on Smackdown. Now the two teams should feature in a 5-on-5 tag team match inside the WarGames structure if the babyfaces can find another team member for their side.
