One of the brightest talents of the current NXT roster is Tegan Nox whose career has been affected by knee injuries on several occasions. She previously had to spend a lot of time after suffering the injury and now reports are available informing she could have suffered another serious injury and at the same place.
As previously reported by Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the word was going around was an injury angle was shot during NXT tapings to showcase the latest injury of Tegan Nox. She was attacked by Candice LeRae, backstage. The victim was selling her knee after the attack hinting it was just a kayfabe, but there could be more to this situation.

Tegan Nox: Bright WWE NXT Talent Dealing With Fatal Knee Injury
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter later noted that Tegan Nox might have suffered an actual knee injury. That backstage attack angle was simply a cover-up as she didn’t work in the NXT Women’s Battle Royal Match for the number-one contender’s spot. It’s to be noted that an injury could be too bad her as she already has a surgically repaired knee.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer further mentioned that Tegan Nox is injured, but it’s still not clear on how it happened.
“I just heard that she hurt her knee again which is really sad. That’s been the story of her career, the knee injuries unfortunately, but yeah. I don’t know how it happened though.” (transcription by Ringside News)
The veteran wrestling journalist added that “I got the impression that it was serious,” but it’s still early to conclude the whole situation. We can only hope that Lady Kane won’t be out of the scene for another extended period of time.
The absence of Tegan Nox was felt during that battle royal won by Candice LeRae. WWE filled in the ring with females who were present at Full Sail Arena with the intention of being in the crowd. They were quickly inserted to the match which was not the plan for last week.
WWE actually needed some star powers in that battle royal and taking out Tegan Nox for no solid reason wouldn’t be a smart decision. Nox was also not affected by the coronavirus related issues since she appeared on camera and everyone has to go through a test prior to entering the ThunderDome or Full Sail Arena. No projected timetable is set for her return. We can only hope that it’s not something serious to put her career in jeopardy.
