Tegan Nox has had a bumpy ride throughout her WWE tenure. She is a popular female name who got lots of attention after coming out as a lesbian name in the WWE roster. But WWE could never use her, on-screen on a regular basis due to those well-documented knee injuries. Those must have been a terrible string of injuries since she came to WWE.
The good thing is that Tegan Nox never gave up and has carried on. Her knee injury kept her out of action, but she eventually returned to the ring prior to WWE RAW this week. But fans will never likely see that match since it was a dark match taped prior to Raw. She is back, according to the reports of PWInsider by competing with one of her fellow NXT roster members.

Tegan Nox competed prior to Main Event in a dark match that was not made for public viewing. She took on Toni Storm in the match and there’s no update on who won the contest,
“WWE NXT star Tegan Nox officially returned to the ring tonight before Raw for a dark match against Toni Storm, PWInsider.com can exclusively confirm.”

In more update, Tegan Nox is expected to be the Superstar behind the recent battery charger teasers that are being aired on NXT, every week. The charger went up to 81% on last Tuesday’s NXT episode which is expected to hit 100% on tomorrow night’s Great American Bash special event. This, she will make the much-anticipated TV return after a long time.
According to PW Insider, those charging vignettes are a vehicle to bring back Tegan Nox. A return date was not revealed by the source but the assumption is that the Bash special event should be the one to bring her back in front of fans that will receive some huge pops,
“The charging battery vignette on WWE NXT has been expected to be Nox.”

Tegan Nox has been out of action since September 2020 after suffering another torn ACL. It was the third such injury since 2017 keeping her away from in-ring competition for longer timespans. Back when she had departed, she was feuding with current NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Candice LeRae. Perhaps, the feud would pick up following Nox’s NXT return while nothing has been confirmed in this regard.
She was feuding with NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Candice LeRae at the time of the injury. LeRae was blamed for the injury in the storylines, but it was reported that Nox actually suffered the injury while doing rehab. Nox was expected to be out of the ring for at least 6-9 months. Nox appeared on The Bump back in January and said she was recovering, quickly from the injury.
