The Bella Twins (Brie Bella and Nikki Bella) are the two key reasons why WWE was keen to insert their superstars into reality TV series. With the invention of Total Divas, the company the two superstars easily established themselves as two of the mainstream attention. The series became so popular that WWE and E Network offered the spin-off series named Total Bellas, a few years later.
The Bella Army members had the opportunity to go through the lives of The Bella Twins even after their time in the ring came to an end, a number of years ago. The show was a hit on E Network earning more fans for the two popular superstars. It was previously announced that the series was coming to an end as the network had some hesitations to renew the upcoming season.
During the latest episode of The Bellas Podcast, the real reason behind the cancellation was revealed by The Bella Twins. Nikki Bella obviously had her ups and downs when it comes to her relationships. Now that she’s become a mother, she wants to keep her personal life private in order to protect it.

The Bella Twins have become private in life
“When we came to Napa and we fell in love with our life in Napa, we were just like, ‘Gosh, we really want to keep this private.’ And I have to say, it’s so hard having camera crews in your house. It’s difficult, it’s just tough,” Nikki Bella, one-half of The Bella Twins explained.
“But like, when we have a tasting room, bring them in! Let’s have fun, let’s party, but when it comes to personal life, you know, it’s kind of hard to put your personal life out there,” she continued. “Artem and I have had, I feel like, such a roller coaster and have dealt with so much. And I felt like after my past relationship, I need to protect this one.”
The same goes for Brie Bella as her husband Bryan Danielson and her sister, Birdie is shy to the camera. Both of them want to keep themselves away from being on TV. Being a responsible mother, Brie was keen on their interests and hence she canceled the lucrative deal with the E Network, wishing to film another season of Total Bellas.
“I think you and I are great at putting our lives out there, but we got protective of our family because they didn’t sign up for it,” Brie, the other half of The Bella Twins stated.
“True, you and I, I feel like I could film 24/7,” Nikki Bella replied. “I love it. Reality TV doesn’t bug me and people judging me doesn’t bug me, you’re right. It’s different when it comes to my family, my son.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)
It’s certain that some of the Bella Army members are disappointed as they won’t get to see up-close looks of The Bella Twins’ lives over on the E Network. It was also announced during the podcast that the Hall of Famers aren’t coming back to the WWE, anytime soon which was yet another negative update around them.
