The Rock is currently involved with DC as he will be portraying the role of Black Adam in DCEU’s upcoming film under the same name. We have already known that this character is going to be the strongest superhero character in the history of DC. An idea about the suit of Black Adam has also been revealed.
How The Rock’s Black Adam will be unique
It was said that the fans will be blown away after seeing The Rock in his Black Adam costume who is also touted to be a bigger superhero than Superman. Then while speaking to Total Film, producer Collet-Serra talked about the upcoming film. he stated that the film will break the barriers in terms of how superhero films are made.
“Black Adam is a disruptor in the DC Comics world, and it has to be a disruptor in the way that we make a superhero movie. I like to be challenged, and I wanted to create new technology, so we developed the way that [Adam] moves, the way that he flies, his costume. And then it trickled down to every other character and the movie itself. But there was always the goal – to be new and unique in the storytelling and in every aspect of it.”

It should be noted that the Black Adam isn’t the only DC project involving The Rock at this point. Other than the superhero flick, The People’s Champion is also set to star in another DC movie called DC League of Super-Pets. As for Black Ada, it’s slated to release in theaters on July 29, 2022. Only time will tell whether it becomes a big draw for the DC Universe.
