Mandy Rose is a dual champion in the WWE for the past few days starting with the 2022 edition of NXT Worlds Collide. After scratching and crawling her way to the top of the NXT Women’s division, she needed this run. After all, she’s waited for almost five years to get to the championship picture and be a champion, altogether.
Before coming to the revamped version of NXT, Mandy Rose was mostly involved in romantic angles with the likes of Otis, Jimmy Uso, and Dolph Ziggler. Being a former admirer of the currently unified NXT Women’s Champion, the veteran superstar of the Monday Night Raw roster seemed absolutely spellbound with her recent performances.

Ziggler remembered the days during an interview with Casual Conversations with The Classic he was paired opposite Mandy Rose, on-screen and he felt that she was still searching for that x-factor in her character. There are so many talents available in the locker room and the formerly known Golden Goddess was one of them. Thankfully, leaving that feel-good persona worked wonderfully for her after being included in the NXT roster.
Ziggler also proceeded to mention how the work put up by Mandy Rose during this NXT 2.0 tenure left him in an amazing state,
“To watch her and her group, Toxic Attraction, stroll into that place with their entrance, talk on the mic so confidently, act like they were running the place, and a couple of the weeks I was there, they sat in the VIP lounge, sipping champagne and talking trash, I go, this is amazing. I was blown away just by the leaps and bounds she had done since I had worked with her six months earlier. So it’s things like that where that’s what I paid a lot of attention to.”

Both Dolph Ziggler and Mandy Rose had title runs in NXT 2.0
Interestingly, Dolph Ziggler himself got to enjoy a short stint on NXT with Mandy Rose being the champion, earlier this year. He started appearing on the third brand of WWE in February before winning the title from the champion at NXT Roadblock on March 8th. Bron Breakker later defeated him for the title on the 4th April episode of Monday Night Raw to get back the championship.
As for Mandy Rose, she herself has been the NXT Women’s Champion for 300+ days starting from Halloween Havoc 2021. She’s recently toppled Charlotte Flair in terms of the length of the reign. During the 2022 edition of Sunday’s Worlds Collide event, she unified the NXT Women’s Championship with the NXT UK Women’s Championship to become a dual champion.
