Tommaso Ciampa vs. Tony D’Angelo has been announced for WWE NXT Stand and Deliver in what appears to be Ciampa’s final match on NXT. The match was set up via a segment that took place on last night’s NXT.

D’Angelo has been talking for weeks about how he had big plans around WWE NXT Stand and Deliver to become the new Don of NXT. In a follow-up, Tommaso Ciampa appeared in a promo to talk about his NXT days coming to an end. Ciampa received several “thank you Ciampa!” and “please don’t go!” chants from the crowd.

The veteran then proceeded to talk about Stand & Deliver as he wanted to have a perfect Fairy Tale Ending but that wasn’t possible as he lost an attempt to win the NXT Title last week. But he was also thinking of a perfect way to close the chapter.

As Tommaso Ciampa thanked the fans, D’Angelo appeared from behind to have a face-off with him. He stated that he could’ve attacked Ciampa with the crowbar but he respects him enough to come in the ring and face him like a man. In honor to make him “The Man” in NXT, D’Angelo wanted to face him in a singles contest at Stand & Deliver. The match was accepted by Ciampa before D’Angelo proceeded to low-blow him to end the segment.
