Triple H

Top 5 WWE World Heavyweight Champions Of All-Time 1

After the WWE Championship monopolized the main event scene in the WWE for a long time, someone was needed to solidify the legacy of the ‘Big Gold Belt’ after it was introduced to the WWE Universe. A heel Triple H with his Evolution cohorts took that responsibility to put the prestige back to the title that was on a hiatus for a couple of years.

As the first-ever and the longest (in terms of combined days standing at 616) World Heavyweight Champion, in the WWE, Triple H was involved in some excellent feuds over the title against the likes of Shawn Michaels, Rob Van Dam, Chris Benoit, and Batista over five separate reigns. It was he who also delivered the first main event at Wrestlemania over the world title in 2005.
