Trish Stratus returned to the WWE on the February 27 episode of Monday Night Raw to help out her buddies who were in trouble against Damage CTRL. Those two friends namely WWE Hall of Famer Lita and Becky Lynch went on to become the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions capitalizing on that help. Lynch and Lita proceeded to defeat Damage CTRL’s Dakota Kai and IYO SKY to win the gold.
Those titles were not out on the line at WrestleMania 39 but rather Trish Stratus teamed up with Lita and Becky Lynch to beat Damage CTRL in a six-woman tag team match. The babyface team worked like a well-oiled machine at the showcase of the immortals to defeat the heel team and start speculations of a break-up for the latter trio. However, a potential swerve in the storyline is pending which could happen, tonight.

The prior reports for WrestleMania 39 had always indicated that a big feud involving Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch is about to unfold on WWE programming. One of these names, possibly the returnee is about to turn heel to set up a mega match at SummerSlam or even at the upcoming two premium live events, Backlash or King. But until the heel turn happens, the match won’t be solidified.

Trish Stratus to move on from her babyface character on Raw?
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter provided an update on the situation and noted that it’s slated to happen sooner than later as WWE could pull the trigger on Trish Stratus’ babyface character on this week’s episode of Raw. In the potential main event match of the night, that big heel-turn could be happening.
Lita and Becky Lynch are set to defend their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan and Trish Stratus could be the ones to cost them the titles to begin the much-anticipated feud,
“If Stratus is doing a turn on Lynch, one would think babyfaces wouldn’t take over the belts, and it made more sense to do it against heel challengers, so we’ll see how this plays out. All the old rules about making sense don’t mean as much when most of the money is guaranteed, and you can really do whatever you want in booking now.”
Trish Stratus, Lita, and Becky Lynch have remained allies through WrestleMania but it’s a fact that Trish had almost become a sidekick for her two buddies. This could be shown as a kayfabe reason as to why the veteran superstar might vent out her frustration on them. We’ll have to wait and see how things eventually go down on this April 10 episode of Raw.
