ToggleIn the early days of 2023, Trish Stratus made her way back to the WWE program to be a part of a few feuds on the Raw TV programming. After feuding with Bayley and her DAMAGE CTRL buddies, she turned heel to begin feuding with Becky Lynch. It’s an admitted effort to remind everybody that she’s ultimately the Greatest of All Time.
However, another legend and a former WWF Women’s Champion, Alundra Blayze (aka Madusa) has certain problems with this notion. Recently, she took to Twitter and accused Trish Stratus of dragging back the women’s division in her heyday, after performers like herself and Bull Nakano forced the WWE Universe to respect their female WWF Wrestlers which they always deserved.

Madusa blames Trish Stratus for WWE’s keenness on Divas
“Trish has set the women back and turned them into a sideshow after all the work I did to get the women respected and legitimize them as the superstars that they are. Do you really think I literally threw that Title in the trash without a plan of longevity and meaning?” Madusa tweeted about Trish Stratus.
“Trish brought in the blueprint that WWE used for decades that had to be UNDONE by the women who were inspired by men and the women that came before her.”

Trish Stratus didn’t get credit for elevating WWE’s Four Horsewomen
It was further mentioned by Madusa that Trish Stratus and her career might have paved the way for WWE Divas like The Bella Twins who ruled the female roster in the early 2010s. However, it was Madusa who blazed the trail for WWE’s Four Horsewomen (Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, and Bayley) who revolutionized the business.
Trish Stratus originally left her in-ring career behind in 2006 when she retired from action at a young age. She continued to wrestle sporadically and she was also inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013. Then she again officially retired from professional wrestling in 2019 after being defeated by Charlotte Flair.
But in early 2023, Trish Stratus came out of retirement and even turned heel on Becky Lynch to kick off a mega feud between these two generations’ superstars. As for Alundra Blayze, she wrestled for several major promotions, including Verne Gagne’s American Wrestling Association (1986-1989), the World Wrestling Federation (1993-1995), and Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling (1991-1993 & 1995–2001).
