Becky Lynch has been absent on WWE television since she relinquished the Raw Women’s Championship to Asuka. In a rare title match-winning segment, the Empress of Tomorrow opened her Money in the Bank briefcase to discover a championship, last May which marked the beginning of a strong title run for her while the former champion went into a hiatus from WWE TV.
There have been many speculations flying around about Becky Lynch’s return and one of those suggested that she is expected to make a return on the SmackDown brand. While this doesn’t make sense from a storyline perspective, joining the blue team could be a personal choice for her since she is married to Seth Rollins. Only time will tell whether they keep on remaining on the same brand.

As for now, Becky Lynch isn’t reportedly returning to WWE before or at the SummerSlam 2021 pay-per-view. WWE was rumored to bring her back, this summer to go with their recent return to touring with fans. However, PWInsider now reports that she will not be factored into SummerSlam plans as word going around at last week’s WWE TV tapings was that Lynch won’t be returning until the fall. October seems to be the closest date when it could happen.

Becky Lynch isn’t coming back before Draft 2021
The new report falls in line with a report made last week by Ringside News that noted how Becky Lynch is not expected to return before the WWE Draft 2021, which is reportedly scheduled for October. The source mentioned, “anything you hear about Becky being back before the Draft is fake news.” They affirmed that The MAN “is not scheduled back anytime soon.”
It was also reported by Fightful Select, that Becky Lynch was being considered for a move to SmackDown when she does return while she is currently listed as a member of the RAW roster.
Meanwhile, she continues to fuel up the rumor mill as it was revealed that she had her hairstyle changed back to the look that she had while being in active competition. She also raised some speculation after tweeting a response to a jab from Charlotte Flair on last week’s Raw. She also attended Money in the Bank in July but nothing fruitful happened from it.
