The Miz vs. Damian Priest has been made official for this Sunday’s WWE WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view. The ingles contest will have a Lumberjack Match stipulation added to it.

The latest match for Wrestlemania Backlash was announced during this week’s go-home RAW in an attempt to put an end to the lengthy feud between Priest and The Miz. A stipulation for the match was determined via another singles contest between Priest and John Morrison on RAW. WWE Official Adam Pearce noted that Priest can pick the stipulation if he wins, while Morrison can pick the stipulation if he wins.

On Raw, Priest defeated John Morrison in singles action after executing Hit the Lights finisher, despite the interferences from Miz. Per the rules, Priest picked a Lumberjack Match stipulation at Wrestlemania Backlash so that The Miz will no longer be able to run away from him. It was teased on tonight’s RAW that the upcoming PPV will mark the end of the lengthy feud between Priest and The Miz.

Before this, Priest teamed with Rapper Bad Bunny at Wrestlemania 37 to defeat the team of The Miz and John Morrison. Since then Bunny departed from WWE TV while it’s Priest who is carrying the feud, single-handedly by featuring in matches against both Miz and Morrison. Miz’s wife, Maryse also featured in the feud, last month as she made a couple of appearances on Raw as part of Miz and Mrs. Show promotion.
