Braun Strowman apparently joined the Ring of Honor promotion following his release by the WWE, earlier this year. As seen during the ROH Final Battle event, ‘The Titan’ Adam Scherr (real name of the former WWE Superstar) made a surprise appearance and he also apparently joined a new faction led by EC3, another former WWE Raw Superstar.

One of the matches on ROH Final Battle featured Brody King, Homicide, Rocky Romero, and Tony Deppen defeating Eli Isom, Taylor Rust, Tracy Williams, and EC3 in a tag team action. Once the match was over, EC3 picked up the mic and cut a promo on ROH management. He claimed that there is no honor in this loss.

EC3 discussed how he has previously suffered the humiliation of being fired (referring to his WWE release). At one point, Brian Johnson came out and had a face-off with him. Apparently, the third-generation wrestler wanted the people in the ring to join him for freedom. He then told Johnson to ‘free the titan’ that appeared to be an indication of the arrival of Braun Strowman.

Dubbed as ‘The Titan,’ the gigantic superstar shocked the professional wrestling world with his surprise appearance. EC3 announced that this wasn’t an invasion but an awakening. Braun Strowman then chokeslamed Eli Isom to the mat as ROH fans chanted. The seven-footer stood tall with EC3 and two other stars in the ring to close out the segment.

Braun Strowman (Adam Scherr) made his return to the in-ring competition at GLCW Blizzard Brawl event in Waukesha, Wisconsin on October 5. On that night, he teamed with EC3 in a winning effort against Impact Wrestling’s Jake Something and Rohit Raju. Along with the match, Strowman and EC3 held a meet and greet that donated earnings to the victims of Waukesha Christmas Parade tragedy.

Braun Strowman was released by the WWE back in June. It came just days after the Wrestlemania Backlash PPV where he main-evented the show alongside Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre in a Triple Threat for the WWE Championship. Being a former Universal Champion and a top talent of the WWE Raw roster, the release was more than shocking for the fans. Now, it appears that The Monster among Men has made an impact with this latest ROH appearance.
