Becky Lynch has already cemented her legacy to be one of the greatest of all time when it comes to the women’s pro-wrestling history. Now, the popular female WWE Superstar is patiently waiting to grace the squared circle, again, when the time is right. The multi-time Women’s Champion has not been seen on WWE television for over a year that is since after announcing her pregnancy back in May of last year.
Since earlier this year, Becky Lynch has given quite a few teases regarding his comeback to the company, but that actual return to WWE television is yet to happen. This also keeps the fans wondering about when she will be making her comeback. Her presence is desperately needed to shake things up on the Raw Women’s division which has been witnessing repetitive booking due to lack of female talents.

However, reports suggest that WWE may be willing to send her to the opposite brand upon return. That was apparently indicated after Nikki Cross ASH vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair was booked for the upcoming Summerslam PPV event.

Becky Lynch could be slated for a Smackdown return
During Fightful Select‘s RAW review, Sean Ross Sapp discussed WWE’s current booking perspective. He expressed some surprise that WWE actually booked a triple threat match for Nikki Cross ASH’s RAW Women’s Title. Originally, Becky Lynch was supposed to be involved in that bout. Since she’s not, the current thinking is that she will probably be on the blue brand upon her return.
“That match being made for SummerSlam was a bit of a surprise. A lot of people were expecting Becky to be back, but word is she might be heading to a different brand. So, who knows, but they need her back in a bad way.”
This makes sense as Seth Rollins, her fiancée is on the Smackdown side and WWE doesn’t often split up a couple on their roster. But then again, WWE Draft is coming up and you never know how the names will be shuffled up for both the main roster sections.
WWE does want Becky Lynch back on their TV screen to shake things up, but they have to pick up the perfect time to pull the trigger on her return to live up to the expectations. We’ll have to wait and see how that plays out on WWE TV in due course.
