The Riott Squad has been gone from the scene for quite a while. But they’re now back hoping to make some waves in the Women’s Division of the WWE. Following their victory over Billie Kay and Natalya on this past Friday’s edition of SmackDown, Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan seemed more than confident about having success.

The Riott Squad was asked about Billie Kay possibly becoming the newest member of the Riott Squad during an exclusive interview with the WWE Network. Interestingly, the answer was negative.

Ruby Riott mentioned that they did have a third member before in the form of Sarah Logan, who is now months away from becoming a mother. But Morgan and Riott might not be interested in recruiting the third wheel of Billie Kay to their group.

“Honestly, we don’t want to look at Billie Kay’s resume ’cause she’s been kind of putting it in our face,” Riott commented. “But when you’re trying to give us guidance — let’s just pump the breaks a little bit. I’m just throwing that out there.”

Billie Kay was abruptly split from her IIconics partner, Peyton Royce on Raw, and then she was sent to SmackDown for absolutely no reason, whatsoever. She was the one to first approach The Riott Squad on Talking Smack, a couple of weeks ago. Kay reminded them that she was a former tag-team champion who could be an excellent addition to the group.

The Riott Squad members then said Kay that if she could find a partner, she could meet them in the ring for a match, the following week. Billie Kay was able to find a tag-team partner in Natalya for a tag team match against The Riott Squad for this week’s SmackDown. But the combination of her and the former SmackDown Women’s champion totally flopped.

After accidentally hitting Natalya in the face and knocking her off the apron, Kay was the one to get pinned by The Riott Squad and thereby losing the match. Natalya angrily stormed off afterward, leaving her partner alone at ringside.

The Riott Squad added that they would “give props” to the former one-half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions for all the hard work she put into her resume. But that doesn’t mean that they would want Billie Kay to join their group.

“Billie Kay is going to have to start shelling out that resume somewhere else,” Riott said.
