Triple H is one of the all-time great characters, produced by the WWE who is also one the most popular Superstars to have ever step foot inside the squared circle. Since he hasn’t yet hung up his boots, officially, the expectation is that he’d be back for at least one last match before calling it a quit on his legendary career.
Fans have been wondering whether it could happen as there’s some uncertainty over whether Triple H still has enough gas left in the tank at the biggest stage of WrestleMania. While speaking to Cheap Heat Podcast with Peter Rosenberg, The Game was asked if there was any WWE Superstar that’d he like to have a match with at WrestleMania.

Then the topic was also nurtured whether he’d be down to wrestling one more match at WrestleMania, after all. Triple H revealed that there definitely are talents that he’d like to dance with, at the Show of Shows. But then he also mentioned how the thought of everyone, regarding his comeback has really become a cliche by now.
“Have those moments in those big arenas because to me, it’s about the different fans. It’s not about the big WrestleMania moment. If I was to do it in that manner, the people that I would want to do it with wouldn’t necessarily be — I wouldn’t be looking to do it with somebody that I had a long-term history with,” Triple H noted.

Triple H on Wrestlemania match bothering everybody
“I’d be looking to do it probably with somebody that was younger and getting rolling. It doesn’t even have to be younger but would be different, and a different challenge and a different thought, but again, it’s not in the front of my head. It seems to bother everybody else more than it does me.” (Quotes courtesy Wrestling Inc)
Triple H’s final match at WrestleMania was at WrestleMania 35 where he won in a No Holds Barred Match against a long-term rival in Batista. It would eventually go on to become Batista’s final pro wrestling match before his retirement.
It will be interesting to see whether Triple H will be back in action in WrestleMania, next year as he is extremely busy with his corporate job in the WWE. In the meantime, the COO of the company was back for a one-off match on Raw, earlier this year to give proxy for Drew McIntyre when he faced off Randy Orton. It wasn’t really a full-length match that came to an end by Alexa Bliss’ interference.
