For the second year in a row, Triple H wasn’t seen performing at WWE’s annual PPV event Wrestlemania which is a rare occasion. However, given the growing age of the WWE legend, it’s certain that there’s not much fuel left for him in the tank. He won’t be seen in fights unless it’s an emergency situation or WWE creates a scene for him to hang up those boots, for good.

Meanwhile, his corporate duties are endless as he’s the WWE Executive Vice President of Talent Relations who also overlooks things for the NXT brand. But being a previous in-ring performer, Triple H does hold a contract similar to other talents of the roster. While many believed that it could be running out, soon if not already run out, that’s not the case as a one-year timespan is available where he can be back in action.

WWE recently released their Schedule 14A paperwork where some of the insider scoops around the McMahons were released including their salaries as top executive of the company. As part of that paperwork, Triple H since he’s a huge part of WWE’s cooperate structure. But he also possesses a performer’s contract which won’t run out until the next Wrestlemania season comes around.

Triple H is a WWE talent until next March

“Paul Levesque. We have a booking agreement with Mr. Levesque which currently runs until March 30, 2022, and thereafter extends for successive one-year periods unless either party gives notice of nonextension at least 90 days prior to the expiration date.

Under this agreement, Mr. Levesque is entitled to a minimum guaranteed annual payment of $1 million which the Company is entitled to recoup from all payments under the agreement including pay for performing in live and televised events and royalties for merchandise sold utilizing Mr. Levesque’s name and/or likeness.”

As you can see, Triple H is locked within the WWE for one more year. It doesn’t matter when it gets expired as it would automatically be renewed, thereafter. Being a part of the McMahon family, he must not be seeking employment outside the company, after all. Rather chances are good that he could take things over once Vince McMahon steps down from the Chairman’s position.

As for a performer, Triple H featured in a match on this year’s January against long-term rival, Randy Orton to make the absence of the then WWE Champion Drew McIntyre who tested positive for COVID-19. It wasn’t fully a match, though which ended with Alexa Bliss’ interference who threw a fireball at Orton.
