There have been speculations about WWE Saudi Arabia shows after WWE’s recent merger with UFC which has garnered tons of attention in recent times as it would amplify the whole sports entertainment business as we see it. It could also change the entire perspective in the wrestling business, allowing Vince McMahon to retain his power in the company still. With that, it can also be assumed that the massive deal in place with Saudi Arabia for WWE will be kept intact.
Following the controversial murder of Washington Post reporter Jamal Khashoggi, Saudi Arabia came was part of discussions all around the world, and WWE Saudi Arabia shows were immediately opined to be stopped. The country anyway lost some partnerships over the situation that included one with current WWE owner, Endeavor.

This is the reason many fans believe that WWE Saudi Arabia shows could be in jeopardy now that Endeavor has taken the charge of the company. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter provided an update on the situation by saying that the current expectation for Endeavor is to finish up WWE’s 10-year deal with the sports authority of the middle-east country without any fluctuations.

WWE Saudi Arabia deal is expected to produce 20 events in the following years
WWE Saudi Arabia deal was set to produce overall 20 events in the country, and the current belief is that Endeavor will ride out the remaining part of it,
“Given that Emanuel and Endeavor pulled out of their business relationships with Saudi Arabia years ago after the murder of reporter Jamal Khashoggi, the belief from WWE is that the current deal will continue through the terms of the current contract, which was for 20 events in total.”
A couple of WWE Saudi Arabia shows could not be hosted due to the COVID-19 pandemic since it was impossible to travel around the world at that point. But the number of missed events will be tacked onto the end of the end of their 10-year deal which calls for two events in the country, each year. The show was restarted from Crown Jewel 2021 in October 2021.
The current belief is that Endeavor will let WWE and UFC do their own business, as separate companies led by Vince McMahon and Dana White, respectively. There might be some overlapping in the future but the deals between the two companies that are already in place won’t be affected. Hence, the next WWE Saudi Arabia show would go down in late May in the form of the WWE King & Queen of the Ring premium live event.
