Omos is the new resident monster on the WWE roster who will reportedly be in action on Wrestlemania 38. If the ongoing reports are any indications then he will compete in a big match against a former WWE Champion.
After emerging victorious in his feud over former tag team partner AJ Styles, Omos has been trying to establish himself as a singles competitor. In the past, it was reported then that WWE had big plans for the seven-footer giant on the Road to WrestleMania 38. Now @Wrestlevotes has recently reported that as of now, there is a singles match planned for Omos at the Show of Shows.
Wrestlemania 38: WWE Confirms Changes To Two Top Matches
In an update to the situation, Fightful Select reports that as of this past weekend, WWE has plans for former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley vs. Omos to take place at WrestleMania 38. Now, this is something that a lot of people would be interested in seeing. But if the match ends up happening then it has to be without much storyline progress since only one single episode of Raw is currently left before the grand event.
Lashley was initially supposed to miss Wrestlemania 38
Lashley suffered an injury during the Royal Rumble match with WWE Champion Brock Lesnar in January. Despite the setback, Lashley won the title. Owing to the legit injury, he was temporarily written off TV via an angle at the Elimination Chamber in February. Lesnar regained the title, that night after which it was reported that Lashley would be out of action for around 4 months with the shoulder injury. So The All-Mighty was not supposed to be in action at Wrestlemania 38.

Now that the Omos vs. Lashley matchup has been indicated, it should be noted that there is no confirmation on the latter one being medically cleared to be back in action following the shoulder surgery. He was reportedly scheduled to undergo the same in late February. If the former champion does return to the ring at WrestleMania 38, then he will be returning way ahead of the original schedule.
In that case, Wrestlemania 38 will also mark Omos’ singles debut at the Show of Shows who originally made his in-ring debut, last year at this very same event. Omos also remains undefeated in WWE TV singles matches, as of this writing.
