WrestleMania 39 has just entered the history books but WWE reportedly has plans in place for WrestleMania 40. The bygone edition of WWE’s biggest event of the year was the first-time experience for Triple H as the head booker and he hopes to continue with the stint, next time around. This would be a welcoming decision by the fans and critics as they believe The Game is doing a splendid job.
Many critics do feel that Triple H has improved the WWE storylines ever since he took over the creative team from Vince McMahon. Multiple storylines heading into WrestleMania Hollywood had months of build behind them which was missing during McMahon’s tenure. More such long-term angles could be in store for WrestleMania 40 if the position remains intact.
Wrestlemania 39 Becomes The Most Successful Wrestlemania Of All Time In WWE History
It was recently reported that it was Vince McMahon who booked Roman Reigns to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion at WrestleMania 38 without having any future plans ready for the Head of the Table carrying both the Men’s World Titles. Due to this, the Raw brand was hurt as it was left without a Men’s World Championship. But that problem should be resolved within SummerSlam 2023.

Triple H is thinking long term when it comes to WrestleMania 40
Additionally, Triple H is also said to have some major plans already sketched for WrestleMania 40, as reported by The Wrestling Observer. The situation is adverse to the previous regime that used to operate under short notice,
“They have a year of post-Mania plans. This is not something where we’re gonna do WrestleMania and then the creative team, Hunter is going to wake up and be ‘what the f**k are we gonna do now?’”
It was also noted that Triple H is more than open to changing these future plans around WrestleMania 40 as and when needed because sometimes a wrestler can be hurt, out of nowhere and sometimes there could be major returns where they need to be inserted into top plans of the company. However, there’s a long road ahead following WrestleMania Hollywood especially considering that the WWE is being sold.
Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia will be the host of WrestleMania 40, on Saturday, April 6, and Sunday, April 7, 2024, as first reported by Philadelphia Inquirer and Sports Business Journal. This keeps the tradition of keeping the Show of Shows inside the USA territory in its nearly 4-decade history except for two occasions in 1990 (WrestleMania 6) and 2002 (WrestleMania 18) when Canada was the host, both the times.
