WWE Bumpy Awards 2021 winners gave acceptance speeches

WWE Bumpy Awards 2021 began with the panel presenting the Tag Team of the Half-Year award to The Mysterios. After receiving their award, the father-son duo came on to personally thank the WWE fans for honoring them with this award. Rey mentioned the fact that his son received his first-ever WWE award just two weeks before celebrating his first-anniversary debut for the company,

“I am speechless, man. We have this because of the fans,” Rey Mysterio started with a big smile. “Everything we do is for you guys. We love you all, and we thank you all for the support because, without you guys, we wouldn’t be here.”

Potential Return Date For WWE To Saudi Arabia For Next PPV Event

The next WWE Bumpy Awards 2021 was presented in the form of the “Rivalry of the Half-Year,” which went to former Undisputed Era members Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly. Tensions was running high when both men appeared to accept their award on their way to the next and third overall showdown of their current feud – not to mention they have to share this one award. Cole, instead of thanking the WWE fans stated, ‘you’re welcome,’ while Kyle O’Reilly added their rivalry is far from over.

“Kyle O’Reilly, the NXT Universe, the WWE Universe, they have me to thank,” Adam Cole stated. “This was Adam Cole featuring Kyle O’Reilly. This is my award…You’re welcome, Kyle O’Reilly. And you’re welcome, WWE Universe.”

It should be mentioned that WWE Bumpy Awards 2021 was concluded by WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns taking home the “Superstar of the Half-Year” award. Without showing much excitement, the winner suggested that this trophy should be given to his SummerSlam 2021 opponent, John Cena,

“Give it to John Cena. He needs it a little bit more than I do.”

Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre received the Lifetime Achievement award, an award that recognizes one Superstar for their dedication, sportsman spirit and honor both in and out of the ring. Last year’s award went to Drake Maverick while the Scottish Warrior was chosen this year by the WWE Bumpy Awards 2022 panelists and fans. Following the honor, the former 2-time WWE Champion stated the following,

“I wouldn’t be in the position I’m in without the fans. I have had such a wild career; lots of ups and downs. I didn’t become ‘The Chosen One’ by the powers that be.

I became ‘The Chosen One’ by the fans. No matter how dark times get, there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel. Keep fighting for your dreams and keep believing in yourself.” (Quotes courtesy Wrestling Inc)
