The second WWE wrestling match scheduled for Cain Velasquez does not exist anymore, as per the updated reports. Back on October 21st, an announcement was out for a second matchup for the former MMA competitor.
Cain and Rey Mysterio would team up to face Andrade and Drew McIntyre at the WWE Supershow scheduled on Saturday, November 30 in Mexico City, Mexico.
It would happen in the same arena (Arena Ciudad de Mexico) where he made his pro wrestling debut for AAA back in August. However, an updated card is now available for the show which shows that Cain Velasquez will no more be performing on the show in a match. But he is still set to make an appearance though on the show in a certain capacity.
Reports suggest that the knee injury of Cain Velasquez could be the reason for the change in Mexico City. His knees are said to be in worse shape, as of now. They might also need surgery. But, Cain denied any of those speculations. Going by the recent happenings though, it seems evident that he has to fix the issue.
Cain Valesquez made his WWE in-ring debut at WWE Crown Jewel on October 31st in Saudi Arabia. It was just his fourth pro wrestling match where WWE fed him to the beast incarnate.
Velasquez quickly lost to WWE Champion Brock Lesnar in his WWE opening match via the Kimura Lock. It went down within just 2 minutes and 10 seconds. This short finish of the matchup was speculated due to the injury that is bothering Cain Velasquez for a long time.
The former UFC Heavyweight Champion was set to perform in the Mexico show main event match as per the earlier advertisements. In his absence from in-ring action, The Fiend will be the main event attraction instead defending the Universal Championship. You may check the rest of the card as given below,
