WWE Crown Jewel 2021 will be the next big PPV event scheduled from Saudi Arabia and the hometown star will be on the card. As learned on Raw, Mansoor, the superstar billed from Saudi will compete against Mustafa Ali has been made official for the card.
This week’s WWE Raw season premiere saw Ali and Mansoor suffering a loss to Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander. For weeks now, the team of Ali and Mansoor was unable to gain some significant momentums and as a result, tensions between the duo continued. Later, Ali attacked Mansoor during a backstage interview with Kevin Patrick.
Then in a post-RAW video was released on social media where Patrick interviewed Mansoor about the attack. Afterward, the challenge was issued for WWE Crown Jewel 2021 by Ali. WWE has since confirmed the match for the PPV event.
“Mansoor, I am challenging you to a match at Crown Jewel, because when I beat you and I embarrass you in front of your friends, and your family, and your countrymen, you will know the pain and the shame that I live with every day. You’ll experience it, and then you will finally learn what I’ve been trying to tell you since day one,” Ali said.
Monsoor has been a regular performer on these Saudi shows over the past few years. He previously secured a battle royal win while he also scored a singles victory over Cesaro. Interestingly, the push for Monsoor begins and ends with these Saudi shows.
