Considering recent circumstances, a rematch for the Raw Women’s Championship at WWE Day 1 sounded evident to happen, heading into this week’s Raw. Now, it’s been officially announced as Liv Morgan gets yet another shot to the title from the red brand against the reigning champion in Becky Lynch.
Over on Raw from the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota, the RAW Women’s Champion Lynch came out and bragged about her win over Morgan from last week. Becky then also turned on the fans for booing her.
Liv was quick to interrupt, saying that Becky is the only person that doubts her. She also called her out for cheating to win last week as Becky used the ropes for the leverage to secure the pin-fall win.
Liv then proceeded to challenge Becky to a title rematch at WWE Day 1. Becky said Liv could’ve used her own trick to win last week, but like usual she did nothing and lost. Liv then ran into the ring to start a brawl with Becky.

Liv nailed a dropkick, sending Becky to the floor. She was dominant until Becky sent her into the steel ring steps. Becky stomped on Liv’s elbow and the stairs, then kicked the steps into her arm as fans booed. Officials also rush down the ring to break things up as Liv cried out for help. Becky mocked how it looked like she injured herself while the champion also accepted the challenge for WWE Day 1.
Liv became the number-one contender to Raw Women’s Championship by winning a Fatal-5-Way match prior to Survivor Series. She got her title match, last week but Becky stole away the win with and the referee could never see the finish.
