It’s disappointing for the WWE Universe that a gem talent like Deonna Purrazzo was never properly utilized under the Vince McMahon regime. After spending more than two years with the company, she gained absolutely zero both on NXT and the main roster. She even barely got to feature on TV for matches and the-then jobber was expectedly released from the contract.
That move eventually marked the beginning of a good time for Deonna Purrazzo’s young wrestler career as she went on to establish herself as an absolute juggernaut in the new-age women’s wrestling. Since her WWE departure, she has been the top women’s champion in three different promotions and multiple-time co-champions who had wrestled all over the circuit.
Deonna Purrazzo Seemingly Teases Return To WWE Under Triple H’s Regime
Of course, the better part of this success came under the Impact Wrestling banner where she is the reigning Knockouts Champion. Currently enjoying her third reign with the title, Deonna Purrazzo has also created a massive record. As stated on Twitter, she has now crossed 500 cumulative days as the Impact Knockouts Champion,
“Today I surpass 500 cumulative days as @IMPACTWRESTLING Knockouts World Champion. Long May She Reign. #Virtuosa”

Deonna Purrazzo started her third title reign at Rebellion
Back in April of this year, Deonna Purrazzo started her third reign as the Impact Knockouts World Champion with a victory over Jordynne Grace at the Rebellion pay-per-view. With this win, The Virtuosa has now moved on and climbed to the second spot in the list of combined reigns for Knockouts World Champions, surpassing Mickie James who was the champion with the same belt for 445 days across five reigns.

Deonna Purrazzo now hopes to achieve one more incredible record that would make her an all-time great in Impact Wrestling. Admittedly, the former WWE Superstar wants to surpass Impact Hall of Famer Gail Kim, who held the promotion’s women’s championship for 711 days across seven reigns.
Speaking in an interview with WrestleZone, Deonna Purrazzo expressed her will to break Kim’s record and she’s willing to go to any measures to reach that milestone,
“The number that sticks in my mind is 711. That is the number of days combined that Gail Kim held the Knockouts World Championship. She did that over seven reigns and is No. 1 in combined days as champion. So, that is the next number for me where it’s like, ‘If I’m at 400 plus days now, can I beat 711?’”
