Continuing the trend of calling up NXT Superstars on WWE Draft 2023 on Night Two, more names were inserted into the main roster. This past Friday night during the Night One of the Draft, five superstars were called on Raw and Smackdown.

Interestingly the current and reigning NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn were promoted to SmackDown on Friday night during WWE Draft 2023 and are slated to face Kayden Carter and Katana Chance for the titles on Tuesday’s NXT. Now even the challengers have been called to the main roster which leaves the status of those belts on the NXT roster, going forward.

Over on Raw, WWE NXT call-ups continued with five more superstars heading to the main roster. The call-ups were first mentioned in round five, as the three-time tag team championship-winning tag team Pretty Deadly – Kit Wilson and Pretty Deadly was drafted to SmackDown. These are two heavyweight names as they dominated the NXT and NXT UK tag team division.

Waller is expected to make an impact on the blue brand with her unique skill sets. He unsuccessfully challenged NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes at WWE NXT Spring Breakin’ 2023. Waller was also strategically placed on the opposite brand to that of Gargano, his opponent from the Stand & Deliver premium live event.

Overall, the picks from WWE NXT during WWE Draft 2023 are Odyssey Jones, Mahal, Indus Sher, Zoey Stark, JD McDonagh, Indi Hartwell, Alba Fyre, Isla Dawn, Katana Chance, Kayden Carter, Pretty Deadly, and Cameron Grimes. Xyon Quinn and Von Wagner remain in the free agent spot on NXT as they’re yet to be picked by any brand.
