The WWE Draft has been one anticipated event in the WWE that brings excitement throughout the entire company as well as among the fans. After things look stagnant, a shakeup is needed on the roster every year and that’s often been given with this process which switches things up for certain WWE roster members.
In the latest, the confirmation came around the WWE Draft 2024 edition with potential shake-ups and roster changes. Unlike the live events or even how this year’s Slammys where fan interaction is a key element, Draft unfolds without any live input from the audience but that doesn’t mean that the fans aren’t excited about its return.

WWE Draft could be set for the first week of May
Going by the sources, the 2024 edition of the WWE Draft is planned for sometime in May. It was May 1, 2023, and it appears that they will go down right on schedule if Triple H’s word was any indication. However, no additional info was given on Triple H’s part on the coming process, as of this writing.
This year’s WrestleMania and WWE Hall of Fame went down under the booking process of Triple H as Vince McMahon is completely out of the scene. That will also be the case for the upcoming WWE Draft where The Game will fully be in charge of things. Besides, WWE will likely wait until their next Saudi Arabia trip to be out of the way before implementing the roster change.
WWE Draft was first started in 2002 alongside the introduction of the brand split. Over the years, it was further renamed as the WWE Brand Extension Draft in 2006 before eventually being simplified to the WWE Draft from 2007 to 2011. It was hosted as Superstar Shakeup a couple of times before getting back the original name.
