WWE wasn’t able to hold Evolution II this year and thus scrapped the show for two years in a row. It was a critically acclaimed show as well as the people liked it very much. So they’d love to receive a second part but for some reason, it’s not happening. The idea has been pitched a couple of times, but it never reached the culmination point.
We can only hope that another edition of Evolution is in WWE’s pipeline although there’s confirmed report available. Meanwhile, one of the female superstars seem to be ready for the show and hopes to feature in a dream match.

WWE Evolution 2: Sasha Banks Wants Dream Match Against Trish Stratus
Sasha Banks recently had a conversation with Table Talk where she answered the very very popular question, “Who is your dream opponent?” The topic came up in reference to WWE holding another Evolution event. While picking that dream opponent, Banks mentioned that she only has one person in mind. She would like to bring back Trish Stratus out of retirement for another match against herself,
“If I could choose anybody? Trish Stratus. I would lose my mind. But honestly, there are so many people. I would like to have a match with anybody I have not had a match with before Trish Stratus was the top of the women’s division of her time. She was the best. She was beautiful.
She was athletic and she inspired me. I have a bunch of her stuff. I remember going to the Eddie Guerrero tribute show and she had this pink shirt on and I saw that shirt at a store and I was like, I need that shirt because Trish Stratus had that shirt. Trish Stratus was always the one.”
“When I finally got to meet her and work with her, I fell more in love with her. She is the most amazing beautiful human being I’ve ever met. Not only did she inspire me in the ring, she inspires me for what she does outside of the ring as well.” (Quotes courtesy Wrestling News)
WWE Star Zelina Vega Calls Herself ‘Fiend’ In Revealing Black Outfit
Trish Stratus was a key part of Evolution part I where she was originally scheduled to feature in a dream match against Alexa Bliss. Later an injury forced her to team up with Lita and face the tag team of Mickie James and Alicia Fox.
Even after the appearance at Evolution, Trish was back for one more match at SummerSlam 2019 where she put over Charlotte Flair. The match against the ten-time women’s champion went down in her hometown of Toronto, Ontario, Canada as she mentioned that she would be happy to call that her retirement match. So it’s unlikely that she’d be returning for another match.
Evolution II isn’t technically impossible, but WWE will be needing some of their bigger female names back on TV. The likes of Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch are all out of action, right now. All three of those names as well as the longest-reigning Divas Champion, Nikki Bella was onboard for the show that made the first edition a huge success.
So it does make sense that WWE decided to hold off another all-female pay-per-view event as they can’t guarantee to deliver a stacked card. Sasha Banks, being a female member of the roster, obviously can’t wait for the company to come back with Evolution and hopefully that would happen, one day.
