WWE Fastlane 2021 main event match will witness Hall of Famer Edge serving as the Special Enforcer. He will play a key role when Daniel Bryan challenges WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns for the title. As seen on the PPV go-home episode of SmackDown, Edge defeated Jey Uso to earn the right of becoming the Special Enforcer.
SmackDown on FOX main event had Edge vs Jey Uso set up with the stipulation of whoever wins gets the Special Enforcer’s spot at WWE Fastlane 2021. Edge speared Uso to get the pinfall win after which Roman Reigns appeared in the ring for a post-match attack on Edge and Bryan. The Head of the Table took both of them out with Spears to stand tall and end the show.

WWE Fastlane 2021 also received a title match from Raw as WWE announced that Mustafa Ali will get another shot at WWE United States Champion Riddle during this Sunday’s pay-per-view. Ali has been requesting a rematch since Riddle was able to retain his title on this week’s RAW after interference from RETRIBUTION member T-BAR got back-fired.

WWE has also announced a stipulation for Sheamus vs. Drew McIntyre at the upcoming pay-per-view. They will now collide in a No Holds Barred match instead of a one-on-one bout.
In more updates from Raw, Shane McMahon vs. Braun Strowman is back on the card of WWE Fastlane 2021. This match was originally announced on this week’s go-home RAW episode, but then it was removed from the listing on the official WWE website, raising some speculations. After SmackDown commentators Michael Cole and Corey Graves mentioned the match, last night, WWE started advertising the match, again.
Seth Rollins vs. Shinsuke Nakamura will also go down at WWE Fastlane 2021. Rollins’ feud with Cesaro continued last night via a promo session on SmackDown which saw Nakamura interrupting and getting physical with Rollins. The segment ended with Nakamura laying out Rollins with the Kinshasa after which WWE officially announced this match.
