One more name within the WWE has been victimized with the coronavirus and this time it’s Hall of Famer, Mick Foley. The veteran name isn’t an active member of the WWE roster and hence had no problems to let know the news to his fans via social media.

Mick Foley took to Twitter, last night to announce that he tested positive with the coronavirus after a recent virtual signing. He has put himself into self-quarantine in a hotel room for the past 18 days that is a mandatory precaution for the victims,

“I tested positive for COVID following a December virtual signing, and have been isolating in a hotel room for the past 18 days. Please continue to take this virus seriously – mask up, social distance, look out for one another. Wishing all of you a happy, healthy new year,” he wrote.

Mick Foley participated in a virtual signing back on Saturday, December 18, as per the information provided in the posted video. He said that he was with two other people in the room with him, who both had their masks on, but Foley had to remove his mask to help with the signing. One of the men in the room experienced symptoms later that night and reported them to Foley.

The former WWE Champion added saying that he waited 5 days before going through the tests, and then locked himself in a hotel room, ever since. Mick Foley mentioned that he had symptoms from COVID-19 which include body aches, loss of smell, affected hearing, and being easily fatigued.

The worst part of them all is that he had to miss out on Holiday season festivities with his family, including Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. Mick Foley then urged his fans to take the coronavirus, seriously.

The Hall of Famer also revealed that he’s cut back on work during the pandemic as in the past 11 months he’s worked just 2 reality TV shows, 4 virtual signings, 2 personal appearances. Not to mention, he was in attendance at the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view for The Undertaker’s “Final Farewell” segment. He noted that in those 11 months he’s gone 12 coronavirus tests before testing positive. This is also the likely reason why WWE didn’t announce him for the Raw Legends Night.
