We expected to get more details on a force to reckon Big Cass about his release from the WWE. The sudden termination is literally a shocker to the die-hard fans. This man has recently earned quite a reputation for being a mean heel.
Some of the fans might not have liked the feud between him and Daniel Bryan. But it does not mean that this rivalry was very bad.
Bryan himself enjoyed working with the seven-footer for the last few weeks. So, there were no issues with his work ethic. But several sources came up with a plethora of updates on this matter stating that there were some recent problems going on with him. We have reported it previously about his misconducting affairs.
Bryan Alvarez spilled the same on a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Live. He revealed that Cass was ‘very moody’ during the Money in the Bank PPV night.
The probable reason behind this was the scheduled loss against Bryan. This was the second consecutive time the leader of the YES movement was about to defeat him in a singles contest.
So, it was not definitely a good news for the big man especially when the storyline revolved about the strength of a seven-footer. The source also added that this is just a speculation at this moment since WWE did not wish him good luck in his future endeavors.
Later Dave Meltzer added some more to these reports. He stated that Vince McMahon held a private meeting – to discuss the future of Big Cass in the WWE. This happened during the last episode of Smackdown Live held from Toledo, Ohio.
Following the meeting, WWE released the statement officially.
There are contradictory reports to these as well. WrestleVotes has come up with some of the suggestions that stated Big Cass has made someone angry in the officials’ team.
But the situation was not worse even at Money in the Bank PPV event too as they were happy with the match delivered against Daniel Bryan.
So it is likely that the scenario changed in quick intervals. Here’s the update from the latter-mentioned source,
“Asked what happened with Cass. Source is tied up at the moment, however, said: “Big man pissed someone off, bad”. I also know this happened within the last few hours, not necessarily the “pissing off” but the decision. Not at the PPV as Cass worked the house show last night.”
