WWE News: Becky Lynch Takes A Shot At Smackdown Women’s Champion Asuka 1

Becky Lynch is the hottest property around the pro-wrestling universe. She has lost the Smackdown women’s championship at WWE TLC. But that did not harm her status, at all. Rather WWE Universe has been showering sympathies towards her that made him already a favorite to win the women’s Royal Rumble match. This might confirm her spot at the Wrestlemania 35 main event against Ronda Rousey.

Becky Lynch is going to Wrestlemania main event?

But that is still a couple of months away in the WWE calendar. Currently, Becky Lynch is overshadowing everybody on the social media. She is owning the likes of WWE legends or commentators like Corey Graves to prove why she is the best. The rant even continued towards the current Smackdown women’s champion, Asuka, too.

Apparently ‘The Man’ is not happy with Asuka stealing her title at WWE TLC. She did not pin or submit her to pick up her first championship on the main roster. Furthermore, the title run has already become a bit stale with no such contenders for the championship.

Becky Lynch pointed out the issue and posted the following on the social media,

“No one beat me to become champ. When Asuka left TLC my championship was RED hot, the main event title, and the talk of the business. How’s it doing now? Exactly. I am that title. I am the #foreverchamp.”

Well, we could not disagree with this, at all. Becky Lynch could have been proven a dominant champion with the belt around her waist. But WWE creative team decided to take it away from her at the earliest. This happened despite the fact that she was out of action for almost a month. The positive thing is that this might allow her to enter the women’s Royal Rumble match.

Additionally, the McMahons have removed the ‘mandatory rematch clause’ from WWE programming. So Becky Lynch will not be able to challenge Asuka in a singles contest at Royal Rumble. Former Smackdown general manager Paige tried to set up the match. But the officials denied this request.

Currently, Charlotte Flair, Carmella, and Becky Lynch are trying to impress the authority figures to earn a title shot. Hopefully, we’ll get a confirmed contender on Smackdown. A triple threat match among them will determine the name. There’s also a chance to see a multi-woman title match at Royal Rumble involving all of them.
