WWE News: Character Change Reserved for Jeff Hardy Upon Return 1

As per the earlier reports, Jeff Hardy was dealing with a shoulder injury that needed him to undergo a surgery to fix things.

The injury was picked up during the six-pack challenge to determine the number one contender for the Intercontinental championship following Summerslam. If we watch the video footages, we could clearly see, Jeff was having trouble with the busted shoulder.

The high flyer could not use his right hand properly being unable to move his shoulder. But, being the veteran, he not only finished the match but also delivered his pendant moves including the Swanton Bomb off the top rope. It might make the injury even more fatal, as he had to miss out more matches, going forward.

He missed a scheduled live event tag team action against Gallows and Anderson on September 22 in Sacramento, California. Matt Hardy competed in singles action against Anderson starting the speculation that the Charismatic Enigma is injured.

Later, WWE.com confirmed Jeff Hardy had to undergo surgery and will be out of action for several months. As per the WWE doctor’s words,

“It’s a full thickness tear of his supraspinatus tendon and a couple of other areas in the shoulder.”

Following this news, cagesideseats.com reported the veteran superstar might not be able to perform in the WWE until Wrestlemania 34. It remains doubtful since no positive news was heard about his health. However, major swerve might be in-store for him upon return, according to the recent reports from RingSideNews.com.

According to the source, Jeff Hardy will no more be known by his original character upon return. Instead, the Broken Nero character will surface on WWE TV for the very first time. The Woken Matt Hardy persona has debuted on WWE Raw, several weeks ago. Now, another bizarre persona will accompany him, going forward.

While talking about the potential returning time-table for the popular names, the source hinted Hardy might return by the end of March or in early April. It is why Matt will have to remain solo on the roster for another few weeks. He might get the momentums by his side once Brother Nero finally arrives by his side.
