WWE News: Chris Jericho Says Greatest Royal Rumble Was a Lifetime Opportunity 1

The Greatest Royal Rumble was not just a wrestling show for the WWE. Apart from the WWE Network exclusive show on this past Friday, the company has arranged this a whole new opportunity for the ambitious athletes of the country, as well.

Tryouts were going on around the squared circle to find out emerging talents.

Triple H and major officials from the talent developments like Matt Bloom from the WWE Performance Center were officiating things on behalf of the WWE. One of these talents received a chance to enter the 50-superstar Greatest Royal Rumble match, itself. So, you can only imagine this is the biggest opportunity for the young athlete concerned.

Apart from them, there were numerous legends who return to the scene to make the night a star-studded one. Chris Jericho is one of those veteran names that competed at Greatest Royal Rumble event. Recently, he spoke about this opportunity given by his former employer.

Check out his quotes,

“It’s just one of those things where it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Obviously, you are getting a chance to work with Saudi Arabia at the highest levels.”

Y2J also remembered about the last time he came to Saudi Arabia was in 2015. Back then too, the event was hosted in a big way. But, nowadays, the sports authority of the country has made much bigger than one can even imagine. Also, he feels thankful for being a part of it,

“We have been there in 2015, but it seems like they are kind of trying to change the way things are done over there. And it’s really cool to have been asked by WWE to be a part of it.”
