WWE News: Daniel Bryan Teases Return To In-Ring Action 1

It was unfortunate to see Daniel Bryan being forced to take retirement from in-ring competition, last year. It is being considered as one of the most heart-broken moments in the history of the WWE.

Since his contract with WWE is bound until 2018, he was contacted by the company to play the role of the Smackdown General Manager. He has been part of the show giving the ratings a major boost.

During this span, a number of times his in-ring return was teased, especially when he was having a major verbal feud with the Miz. However, that did not turn out to be the case anyway. His neck injury is something which is very much sensitive and WWE had not allowed him to get into the ring.

Recently, Daniel Bryan has been posting some updates on his twitter account on a constant basis. This led to a speculation that he might head back into in-ring competition for one more time. Being amongst the veteran wrestlers, he knows how to play mind-games with the fans and continued to do so in the recent times.

In a recent edition of Smackdown Live, a similar hint was given by the WWE. A dark segment was held after the main show where Dean Ambrose defended his Intercontinental title against the Miz. Bryan appeared in the ring acting as the special guest referee for the match. The match took place in his home state of Washington.

No confirmation regarding this matter was found from any source, for now. The Smackdown GM has only stated that he is getting fit before he becomes a father.

His wife Brie Bella is due for the month of April. This might force Bryan to take a hiatus from the WWE in the post-Wrestlemania season. So, just like Raw, we might get to see a new GM on the blue brand, as well.
