WWE News: Details of Dolph Ziggler’s New WWE Contract 1

It looked like Dolph Ziggler might have been done with his WWE career for good at the end of 2017.

As seen after the Clash of Champions PPV event, he decided to vacate the won United States Championship and left the Smackdown Live brand. Different rumours were running rampant about his drowning WWE career.

It was until he came back on WWE Smackdown Live to go straight into the prime title picture. He defeated Sami Zayn in a singles contest to set up the fatal-five-way championship match at the main event of the Fastlane PPV.

This is said to be a career rejuvenation for him. It was also speculated that he might have signed a new contract with the WWE.

It was strange to believe the show-off went on to extend his contract with the company which has not treated him well for the last few years and gave the role of a jobber for the most part of his contract. Previously, he alluded to leave the company due to this. But, in reality, he never dared to do this.

As per the recent reports from Sports Illustrated, Dolph Ziggler was offered a lucrative contract which was hard for him to say no to. As per the source, this is a two-year deal with the WWE which will be offering huge money to him. He is expected to make 1.5 million, each year by virtue of this deal. Plus, this will also allow him to do work outside dates, as well.

*Huge amount of Money
*He has agreed to put anyone over.
*He can accept outside project if the dates don’t match with his WWE Schedule.
*He can leave the arena right after his match.

As you can see, the jobber’s role is still on for him where he had to put over the new talents. But, the remaining are something which one can’t refuse, easily. By this, he can continue the job of a standup comedian. For now, he is expected to stay in the main event picture until the Wrestlemania season passes by.
