WWE News: First Match Announced For Ronda Rousey At Wrestlemania 34 1

Ronda Rousey competing in a Wrestlemania match was on the radar of the WWE fans, for quite sometimes. This would grab huge attention from the pro-wrestling industry as well as from the mainstream fans considering the fame that this woman has all around the world. Last night, it was confirmed, finally which is going to be her first-ever outing in an official match, as well.

After weeks of altercations between Ronda Rousey, Kurt Angle, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, these four would now compete in a huge mixed tag team action. The first two would team up against the two authority figures of the WWE Raw show setting up this blockbuster matchup. By virtue of this announcement, WWE has just confirmed the rumors surrounding this contest,

“Will the pairing of Ronda Rousey & Kurt Angle, two of the most decorated sports figures of all time, silence The Authority at WrestleMania? Or, will Stephanie McMahon & Triple H overcome Rousey & Angle’s impressive pedigrees with Pedigrees of their own on The Grandest Stage of Them All?

Find out when WrestleMania 34 airs on Sunday, April 8, at 7 ET/4 PT, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network!”

Earlier, on WWE Raw, Kurt Angle showed up with redemption on his mind after Triple H punching him in the face, last week. So, he wanted to have a face-to-face confrontation with the WWE COO. However, Stephanie McMahon showed up as a shield for her husband. But, then again, Ronda Rousey was there to make things neutralized.

By virtue of her contract with the WWE, she got to choose her own Wrestlemania opponent. She would not get to face any champion but rather an active member of the Raw roster. She simply went on to choose Stephanie McMahon. This received a huge pop from the crowd.

But, then Triple H appeared in the ring and tried to deliver an assault on Kurt Angle, again. The Raw GM backfired and locked in the Angle Lock on his former nemesis. This confrontation forced the Olympian to make the singles action into a mixed tag team action by inserting himself into the contest. He will now accompany his fellow Olympian against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at Wrestlemania 34.
