WWE News: Former WWE Superstar Big Cass Returning to Wrestling
WWE surprised their fans by releasing Big Cass from the contract. It happened after Money in the Bank PPV. It was the second consecutive PPV match where he digested a loss against Daniel Bryan. Apparently, it was just a setup to show him the exit door. It happened all of a sudden which left the fans in awe.
Just two months ago, Big Cass returned to TV overcoming a gruelling injury. He was out of action after breaking his MCL after last year’s Summerslam. It caused him nine months of his career. Doctors cleared just after Wrestlemania season was over. So he was able to make a comeback on Smackdown Live.

Initial reports claimed a huge push was waiting for him. It is the reason he went after the most popular superstar on the roster, Daniel Bryan. Although the feud was a bit lacklustre, it helped him to rebuild Big Cass as a bonafide heel on the roster. It was a hint for him to go into the main event shortly.
WWE released him from this situation which is why it was a real shocker. We have not heard from him since the release had happened. He could not make any appearances on other wrestling shows due to WWE’s no-compete clause. It remains intact for 90 days from the day the contract terminates.

“Former WWE Superstar “Big Cass” is coming to The Championship Wrestling League. At our debut show on September 29th, he will be live in the middle of the ring to sign his full-time contract with CWL. He will also be given an open mic and has promised to release his first public comments since being released. Former WWE announcer, Matt Striker will be the host of the show. It looks like Big Cass has a lot to get out of his chest. We expect to know the backstage story behind his release. He could not perform under the name that he used during WWE tenure. Hence it might change to Big Cazz according to the suggestions.
