In case you are a hardcore follower of the WWE, you should know how much control does Vince McMahon have over the products? He is the one to control the contents that air on WWE Raw, Smackdown or pay-per-views. The main roster still belongs to the Chairman of the Board. He is the one to take the final call about any of the segments or superstars.

Worries on Vince McMahon’s recent health

It’s hard to believe how much Vince McMahon still involves the programming even at this age. He was the one to create this entire empire known as the WWE. Over the years, this wrestling company grew up to be a global brand that he needs to take care of. But he still finds a way to control the storylines or give inputs to the writers which are quite incredible.

When would WWE bring Vince McMahon to Hall of Fame?

But then again this leads us to a big question. Vince McMahon needs to stop at one point considering his growing age. He needs to stop in the near future since his body may not cope up to the hectic schedule. Even a recent report from Dave Meltzer revealed worries about his health. So what does WWE thinks of a scenario when the Boss is not around.

WWE produced a document in SEC filing recently that included a number of topics including their business insights. Interestingly, they mentioned how the absence of Vince McMahon can affect regular WWE programming. They mentioned an “unexpected retirement, disability, death or other unexpected termination” can cause a great loss to them.

They revealed that WWE’s operations, as well as the creative process, would hit the roadblock. Here’re the exact statements from them,

“The loss of Mr. McMahon due to unexpected retirement, disability, death or other unexpected termination for any reason could have a material adverse effect on our ability to create popular characters and creative storylines or could otherwise adversely affect our operating results. Mr. McMahon has established Alpha Entertainment LLC, to explore investment opportunities across the sports entertainment landscapes, and Alpha Entertainment LLC plans to launch a professional football league in early 2020.”

We need to mention that Vince McMahon is re-launching the XFL program next year. So his schedule might become even double hectic by then. So WWE’s statements noted that his absence could make an effect there, too. In fact, his demise might lead to an unexpected decrease in the stock price of WWE. There’s a huge fanbase of the Boss who wishes to see him on TV as long as possible.
